What’s the punch line?
THE UNIVERSE IS PLAYING THE BIGGEST JOKE ON ME RIGHT NOW.
I wouldn’t even be surprised if, when I came back to California, school was about to start. Last week’s trip was such a ride and it’ll be weird coming back with 3 more months left of summer. I’ve lived more last week than I did all last year.
I like architecture because of how present it is in my life, or anyone’s. I like going around and looking at nice buildings. Walking through and around them, seeing all the little things that make up a place where people reside in. Isn’t it so great that these vessels of human activity can also be expressed in art? There’s little stopping utilitarians and pragmatists from building the cheapest, largest, most efficient buildings that look like crap. But most people don’t. Most people appreciate a decent looking building and some even go the extra mile and pay up the ass for a gorgeous one. Mostly for bragging rights, but who cares? We get the benefits of being around a beautiful space.
**and sorry for the last answer. It was really depressing**
I like playing around with taking photos of places, things, and whatever. But what I love the most is taking photos of things that end up changing. I’m obsessed with looking back at old photos of friendships or relationships I once had and pretend like things never changed..
As for aesthetics I think I shoot a lot of 1-point perspective. I like how straightforward (literally) it is. It’s not very creative but it ,9/10 times, highlights the subject the best.
Even though this is like 2 weeks late I still don’t have a complete answer. Too many things going on in my head right now. I’ll complete this later.
